Submitted Testimonies
“Come! Listen, all you who are loyal to God! I will declare what he has done for me. ” (Psalm 66:16, NET)
Testimonies bring strength and power to both the ministry and the body of Christ as a whole! Through our testimonies, we help God “come alive” to those needing to hear an encouraging, uplifting word. If you have a story you’d like to share with others about how the Royal Rangers ministry has made a positive impact on your life, we’d love to hear from you! Please visit our “Share Your Testimony” page and our staff will review and post your testimony on our website. Thanks and God bless!
One week before the Fall Trace I laid down in bed on a Saturday night and as soon as I was in bed a terrible pain hit me like I had a broken rib. I sat up and it went away but when I laid down the pain came back. For the next week the only sleep I could get was sitting up. Very little sleep during that time. I was in charge of the Trace – my wife asked what are you going to do? A silly question – she knew the answer before she asked it – I would go to the Trace. I knew if I was sitting or standing I was not in pain – my plan was to sleep sitting up in the truck seat – I trusted God to get me through as He has done so many times in the past. Friday night at the Trace I was in pain even sitting up I slept very little. Saturday night at the council fire our National FCF President Paul Walters said we need to pray for Dave tonight. The small group of men and boys gathered round me and prayed. That night I did not sleep well but it was not because of pain it was because my feet were cold! I returned home and laid down in my bed the night after Trace ended and slept like a baby all night long. The next night was the same and on and on I slept laying down. It is now 22 days after that prayer and I have not had any pain in my ribs or back. I have had x-rays, CT scan and an MRI and all reports have come back with nothing showing. I give God all the Glory for his healing power and to the men and boys for obedience to pray for me.
