RTC & Pow-Wow Are Fast Approaching!

Ranger Training Camp and Pow-Wow will be here before you know it! Please let us know by the end of the month if your outpost has boys attending the Ranger Training Camp so we can plan accordingly. We look forward to seeing you there!

This year’s speaker at Pow-Wow will be Rick Dostal.

About Rick

Rick and Maggie Dostal reside in Marietta, Ohio, have attended River of Life Church since February 2016 and serve in the Ohio Ministry Network. Rick serves as the Outpost Coordinator for Outpost 390 and Student Ministries Coordinator for his local church He is the structural building inspector for South East Ohio Building Department and Maggie works in the medical field. Rick and Maggie have been married for 42 years and have one daughter, Hannah who is a Professor at University of Connecticut UCONN. They moved from Springfield, Missouri where he served at General Council Assemblies of God headquarters as the U.S. MAPS Construction Representative for almost 9 years and the national Royal Rangers office for 7 years. Rick previously served as the National FCF President and currently is a National FCF Field Advisor.

Rick came to the national Royal Rangers office from Oakley, California in February 2000. Prior to their move to Northern California in 1992 they resided in Grover Beach, CA. When he was 12 years old his family moved from Oklahoma to Southern California.

Rick has been involved in the Royal Ranger Ministry since 1978. If you really want to see Rick get “excited” just start talking about Frontiersmen Camping Fellowship. You will see this is his passion, second only to seeing boys coming to the altars. Rick said, “FCF is a very special and unique tool that God has provided for commanders to reach more boys for Christ but the fun part is mentoring! What more exciting thing is there than to see a new FCF’er build his first flint and steel fire or stick his first tomahawk. Take that new FCF’er to his first Trace or Rendezvous and watch him learn to trade for his first piece of an outfit. Tell me this ministry is not the most awesome adventure a Royal Ranger Commander could be involved in!”

Rick’s interests include spending time with his family, camping, and hunting. He enjoys speaking at FCF events, Royal Rangers Pow Wows, and Men’s events. His vision is to see all of our boys have the opportunity to ask Jesus Christ our Master Ranger into their heart as Lord and Savior and then to train them up in the Ranger way so as to become real Men, Warriors for God.
