We can all agree on one thing: Mentoring Future Men is our primary passion and focus. With all that is going on in this world, there are boys who need us as leaders to help them become the men God has called them to be. How can we reach them if they don’t know?
That is the focus of EMPOWER 17, “Enlarge Our Territory.” In 1 Chronicles 4:10 Jabez cried out to God and said, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted this request! In the same way, we, as Royal Rangers, need to cry out to God and ask him to bless us and enlarge our territory.
EMPOWER 17 has been designed with outreach in focus. Whether it be at the outpost level, through your church and community, or on a larger scale, through your section or district, anticipate picking up some great ideas on growing your ministry. We’ll also have our National Director, Karl Fleig, with us to lead our general sessions. And as always, the fellowship will be outstanding. Come and meet some new people and enjoy all that God has done in our ministry and all that he will continue to do. We can’t wait to see you in Harrisburg, PA in 2017!

The Top Ranger Competition was developed based on feedback from the districts that they wanted a competition returned to Royal Rangers, similar to the fashion of Ranger of the Year. After some time, we kicked things off last year with the first ever Top Ranger Competition. Last year, we had 4 Rangers from 2 Districts compete.
